Jericho Brown, born Nelson Demery, III, is an American poet. He serves as an Assistant Editor at ''Callaloo''. His first book, ''Please'',〔http://www.wmich.edu/newissues/titles/brown-please.html〕 (New Issues Poetry & Prose, 2008) won the American Book Award.
